It is now easier than before for you to Sell Your Photographs thanks to the Internet.

How do you reach the multitude of people who may be interested in buying your photos ? There's a couple different ways to display your photographs online.

You may have a collection of excellent photographs you've taken and saved over the years. You can submit your photos to Stock Agencies and microstock sites, or put them on your own Web site, by getting a photo storefront or building your own site.

There's one place that is always looking for photos: magazines. Magazines are a good way to see your picture in print.

There are many magazines covering a wide variety of subjects, and they need pictures for each edition.

Browse through various magazines on the news stands on the type of articles and different images they use.

You can find companies addresses on the publisher's information page of the magazines and contact them directly about sending them copies of your photo(s).

Sometimes magazines have submission guidelines posted on their web site.

Miscellaneous:

Take photographs of the school plays (parents love those), and  any public event such as: grand openings, dog shows, sporting events, graduations, weddings, church events and public concerts. There might be an opportunity later when someone needs photographs of that event.

Companies in the tourism industry are often looking for good travel photos.

Check with local car dealers about photographing their vehicles for advertising in newspapers and local car clubs.

Other businesses that would be in the market for photographs are auto magazines, and even private dealers.

Taking car photos can be a lot of fun.

Newspapers:

You don’t have to be a staff reporter to get your picture printed in the press. Many newspapers these days use stringers and accept freelance shots.

Local newspapers buy photographs from house fires, winning football team photos, vehicle accidents, etc.

You can photograph local bands for local newspaper coverage and promotion.

There is activity all around us and it all requires recording and someone somewhere is willing to pay for these photographs.

Any item that can display a photograph is a likely income source for photographers.
